Open Source Software Usage

This workshop extensively uses open-source software including:

• n8n (workflow automation platform)
• Supabase (database platform)
• PostgreSQL (database)
• Docker (containerization platform)

Important Points:

• Open-source software is provided "as-is" without warranty
• Software versions and features may change over time
• We cannot guarantee long-term support or compatibility
• You are responsible for understanding the licenses and terms of use
• Community support may vary for different tools

Personal Laptop and Hardware Usage

You will be required to use your personal laptop for this workshop.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• You must have administrator/admin rights on your laptop to install software
• Minimum 10GB free disk space and 8GB RAM required
• You are responsible for backing up your data before the workshop
• Installation of Docker Desktop and other software may affect system performance
• We are not responsible for any damage, data loss, or system issues that may occur
• Ensure your laptop meets all technical requirements before enrolling
• Antivirus or security software may need temporary adjustments
• Corporate/company laptops with restricted access may not be suitable

Recommendation: Use a personal laptop rather than a work/corporate device if possible.

Third-Party Services and API Accounts

This workshop requires creating accounts with third-party services:

Required Accounts:

• OpenAI (API access)
• Google Cloud Platform (Gmail/Calendar/Search APIs)
• Google Gemini (API access)
• SERP API (web search)
• Groq (API access)
• MongoDB Atlas (database)
• Telegram (messaging platform)
• GitHub (code repository access)

Important Considerations:

• You will need to provide personal information to create these accounts
• Some services may require payment method verification (credit/debit card) even for free tiers
• You are responsible for managing your API keys and credentials securely
• Free tier limits apply - excessive usage may incur charges
• You must comply with each service's terms of service and acceptable use policies
• API keys and credentials are your responsibility to protect
• We are not affiliated with these third-party services
• Service availability and pricing may change without notice

Privacy Note: Be aware of the data you share when creating accounts and using APIs.

External Resources Usage

This workshop references and uses external resources including:

API Keys and Security

Critical Security Notice:

• Never share your API keys publicly or commit them to public repositories
• Store API keys securely in a password manager or secure location
• Revoke and regenerate keys if accidentally exposed
• Monitor your API usage to detect unauthorized access
• We are not responsible for any charges incurred due to compromised API keys
• Follow each service provider's security best practices
• Be aware that API usage may be tracked and monitored by service providers

Data and Privacy

Personal Data:

• You will be handling your own personal data (emails, calendar events, etc.)
• Ensure you understand how each service stores and processes your data
• Workshop workflows may access sensitive information from your accounts
• You are responsible for data privacy and compliance with applicable regulations
• Do not use confidential or sensitive business data during the workshop

Telegram Bot:

• The Telegram bot you create will have access to your messages
• Bot data is processed through your n8n instance
• Understand Telegram's privacy policy and bot permissions

Software Installation Risks

Important Warnings:

• Installing Docker Desktop requires system-level access
• Software installation may modify system configurations
• Your computer's performance may be affected during workflow execution
• Ensure your system is compatible with all required software
• Back up important data before beginning installation
• Corporate firewalls or security policies may block required services
• Uninstalling software later is your responsibility

This workshop does NOT include:

• Official certifications or accreditation
• Ongoing technical support after completion
• Guaranteed job placement or career assistance
• Warranty for software functionality
• Liability coverage for system issues or data loss
• Access to paid versions of any services
• Guaranteed compatibility with all computer configurations

• Access to free tier services (subject to provider terms)
